North Sydney Swimming Pool
This pool brings me so much pleasure. It’s the old steep concrete stairs, it’s the bay windows that line the length of the outside pool, it’s the crystal blue sparkling water and the incredibly rich, tanned and toned locals that lap it up. Its the view, the location, the smell. It’s everything except the incredibly salty water, the expensive locker hire charge, the $2 three minute showers, the slow lane with no breast stroke, the slow lane with no freestyle (forcing you to change lanes every time you want to change stroke), the incredibly salty water and the incredibly salty water.
After a swim in that pool I feel like I could salt my food for a week just by shaking my hair. I’m dehydrated now.
